Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Admission Circular

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is the first digital university in Bangladesh. To achieve the goal of digital Bangladesh, the university has started its journey. This university is only for science students. Other groups of students can’t apply for the admission test. Here we have discussed the admission test, admission procedure and merit list generation system and admission results of BDU.

Eligibility of the BDU Application

Those who passed from science group in SSC and HSC can apply
SSC passing year must be 2015/2016/2017
SSC Minimum GPA Requirement is 3.50
HSC Passing year 2018/2019
Minimum HSC GPA is 3.50 with forth Subject
The student must obtain at least 3.00 at Math, Physics and English
Total GPA (SSC+HSC) is 7.50 out of 10
Vocational students can apply for the BDU Admission

Application Starts: 10 January 2020
Application Ends: 30 January 2020
Main Campus: Gazipur, Bangladesh
Application Fee: 700 BDT
Class Starts: March 2019
No Admission Test will be held
Merit list will be generated based on SSC and HSC Marks

Subjects of BDU with Seat Number

As this is a new university there are only two subjects available here in two faculty. The faculties are Engineering and Education & Research. Bachelor of Science in IOT is under the Engineering faculty and Bachelor of Science in ICT in Education is in Education and Research Faculty. Total 100 Seats

Admission System and Selection process

As we have told that, there is no admission test will be held to get admit in BDU. The Merit list will be generated based on the SSC and HSC exam result. In the below list we have given the details of the selection process.

There are five steps of generating merit list in Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman Digital Unversity.

First Step: Merit list will be generated based on SSC and HSC GPA
Second Step: Merit list will be made based on SSC and HSC Marks
Third Step: Selection process according to Physics and Math Marks
fourth Step: According to the Passing year
Fifth Step: According to the age of the Candidates

How to apply for BDU Admission

Visit http://admission.bdu.ac.bd
Click on Apply Now Button
Enter the SSC and HSC Roll no, Registration No, Education Board and Passing year
You will get user id and Pin in your mobile
Login to the web portal and follow the next steps
Students need the Scan copy of 150 x 180-pixel Photograph
After the submission, the Application form must be downloaded
If any error candidates can edit their details

How to Pay BDU Application Fee

There are two ways to pay the application fee of BDU Admission. These are rocket and bKash. Student can choose either Rocket or BKash according to the choice. Here is the system of Payment

D). Choose 0 for Other
